Walker Art Center Library Tour - Thursday March 6th Ever wondered what an art or museum library is like? Come see the Walker Art Center's library and how this special library supports the exciting work of one of Minnesota's premier cultural institutions. Rosemary Furtak, Walker Art Center librarian, will lead a 45-minute tour with 15 minutes for questions and discussion. Plus, you can choose to visit the Walker for free the rest of the evening. Student Scholarship for 2008 SLA Conference in Seattle

Do you need $$ to attend the 2008 SLA Annual Conference in Seattle, WA? The St. Kate's SLA student group would love to help you attend the 2008 SLA Annual Conference in Seattle, WA, June 15-18, 2008.  This scholarship is open to a current MLIS student at St. Kate's who is a member of SLA, the student group and will be attending the annual conference for the first time. Don't let the SLA member requirement discourage you—a student membership is only $35/year and you will have valuable access to resources, meetings and networking!  $35 too much? Sponsorships are available for student memberships.
