About
The St. Catherine University Special Libraries Association Student Group is the oldest student chapter for the Masters of Library and Information Science program. As a group, we aim to provide learning and networking opportunities for students who are seeking to explore work as information professionals in non-traditional library settings like businesses or non-profits, as well as special academic libraries, government, law libraries or other specialized information areas.
We are dedicated to promoting student involvement in the global Special Library Association, enriching experiences and connections in the MLIS program, and providing unique and informative programs throughout the year.
This blog was created to keep students informed about current SLA events, the student group, and the profession.
