Resume Event Success

The Resume Event co-sponsored by our group and the MLIS department was a success! 27 people attended and heard Judy Galt of Galt Information Services, LLC give an overview of resumes. Attendees then were able to review their own resume with Renee Weddle, Librarian at Cargill; Jane Ann Nelson, Library Director at Augsburg or Marilyn Cathcart, MLIS Assistant Professor and former Director of the Legislative Library. Judy's slides are posted on St. Kate's website if you are interested. Thank you to all who helped make the event a success!

Monday Night Resume Workshop

Do you have a Resume? Do you need to begin or revise one but are unsure how to start? Do you wish someone who has actually hired people could give you specific suggestions? You are in luck! St. Kate's MLIS Department and the St. Kate's SLA Student Group are sponsoring a resume event on Monday, October 13th at 6:30pm in CdC 17 . Irene Rossman, is a Consultant at Career Partners International, a career counseling and outplacement firm in Bloomington, and will be presenting followed by a workshop to allow a review of your resume .
