Historical Society Library Tour - New Date!

The date has been changed for this event - to Tuesday, October 14 . RSVP now! Join the St. Kate's SLA student group and CALCO for a unique tour of the Minnesota Historical Society Library. Librarian Brigid Shields will introduce us to the library's collections, including behind-the-scenes areas not open to the public. In preparation for the 2008 elections, we'll hear about what the library holds on well-known Minnesota political personalities. Attendees will have the opportunity to see museum exhibits after the tour. What: Tour of the Minnesota Historical Society Library. Where: Minnesota History Center, 345 W. Kellogg Blvd., St. Paul, MN 55102-1906 (meet in the Fraternal Congress Classroom, in the library on the 2nd floor) When: Tuesday, October 14, 2008. Monday Night Resume Workshop

Do you have a Resume? Do you need to begin or revise one but are unsure how to start? Do you wish someone who has actually hired people could give you specific suggestions? You are in luck! St. Kate's MLIS Department and the St. Kate's SLA Student Group are sponsoring a resume event on Monday, October 13th at 6:30pm in CdC 17 . Irene Rossman, is a Consultant at Career Partners International, a career counseling and outplacement firm in Bloomington, and will be presenting followed by a workshop to allow a review of your resume .
