Job Opportunity: Librarian II/Law Library at Washington County
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- Master’s Degree in Library Science or equivalent
AND - Two years of professional Librarian experience
Must have own means of reliable transportation for business purposes; individuals operating a motor vehicle for county business must possess a valid driver's license.
RESPONSIBILITIES: Provides assistance and instruction to Law Library customers on using electronic databases, internet, library catalog, and library collection. Overall responsibility for the day-to-day operation of the Law Library and support of Washington County Law Library Board. Coordinate legal seminars and clinics for the Washington County Bar and the public.
DESIRABLE EXPERIENCE:
- Paid experience as a professional Librarian in a law library
- Experience using legal research tools and techniques
- Experience using electronic legal resources, e.g. Westlaw
- Paid experience providing public services in a law library
