SLA Conference Scholarship Requirements Lessened, Deadline Extended

Due to a lack of applicants, we have decided to extend the deadline and lessen the requirements for the $1,000 SLA Conference Scholarship. The new deadline is May 5th. The new requirements will be:

  • A short 100-word biography detailing your involvement in SLA and/or commitment to the field of special librarianship.
  • A 500-word essay about how attending the 2016 SLA Conference will further your career and/or education, as well as how your attendance might benefit the St. Kate’s MLIS Program.

The 2016 SLA Conference will take place in Philadelphia, PA from June 12-14.
