Upcoming Events - Mark Your Calendars!
We had a great first SLA Student Group meeting and we're looking forward to a lot of fantastic events this fall:
- Ramsey County Law Library is celebrating its 80th Anniversary on September 26, 2016! There will be an open house, presentations, and programs. For more information, please see this flyer for the event: https://www.ramseycounty.us/

- We are working with SAA to arrange a tour of the Minnesota Historical Society Library and Archives. SAA has set up a poll to determine interest and availability. The tour will be held on a Tuesday evening in November. If you are interested and haven't taken the poll yet, please do so here: http://doodle.com/poll/hann6qt

- Our Fall 2016 Information Professionals Panel will be held November 28 at 6:00 p.m.! We will pass along more details as they are available. We are still in the process of contacting potential participants - so if you know of someone who might be interested or would like to see a particular type of library or librarian role represented, please let us know!
- We need volunteers! Each year the SLA Student chapter works with the SLA-MN chapter to host a silent auction during the SLA-MN holiday party. The proceeds go to our SLA student scholarship (we will be sharing information on that later). We need volunteers to help with reaching out to businesses by phone and/or mail. Please let us know if you would be willing to help out!
