2018 SLA Conference Travel Stipend Winner

Congratulations to Maggie Parra!

The SLA-MN Award Committee selected Maggie to receive the 2018 SLA Conference Stipend Award to attend the SLA annual conference in Baltimore this June.

The SLA-MN Conference Travel Award is a $1,000 stipend to assist in funding airfare, hotel and conference registration. In 2008, SLA-MN established this award for a current St. Catherine University MLIS student who demonstrates a commitment to the field of special librarianship.

Maggie will receive recognition of her award from Eddy Morrow, SLA-MN's President in May.
