The Special Libraries Association (SLA) is hosting an upcoming tour of the  Textile Center Pat O'Connor Library. The Textile Center has one of the nation's largest circulating textile libraries open to the public! We are excited to announce details of the 2023 SLA annual conference travel stipend. This year, the conference will be co-hosted by the Medical Library Association and will provide opportunities to attend over 100 education sessions, networking, and social events with librarians across the globe. The St. Kate’s SLA chapter will be awarding a travel stipend of $1000 to attend the conference held from May 16-19th, in Detroit, Michigan.This stipend award can be used for conference registration, airfare, and/or hotel expenses. To be considered for this award, applications are to be submitted to Dr. Konhe Yoon (kyoon@stkate.edu) by Monday, April 3rd. MN Legislative Reference Library Tour!

    Come join us for an in-person tour of the MN Legislative Reference Library at 4:30pm on March 2nd! The tour will be giving by St. Kate's alums and previous SLA student group officers and will be a fun time. RSVP here ! The MN Legislative Reference Library serves the MN Legislature and Minnesota citizens by providing access to resources that support the legislative process and promote the understanding of state government.  Tour info : Date - March 2nd Time - 4:30pm Location - 645 State Office Building                       1000 Rev. Spring 2023 Meetings

  Welcome to spring semester! Our next meeting is Thursday, March 9th from 5:15 - 5:45 pm. We're continuing the semester with holding a hybrid in-person/online meeting. You're welcome to join us in-person in CDC 20  or online via Google Meet or Zoom. We will be planning our next tour at the Textile Center; you won't want to miss it!
