SLA-SG Spring 2025 Meeting 2 - Summary
Hello everybody,
First of all, we'd like to thank everyone who joined us for our second meeting of the semester. We continue to be impressed by our rates of attendance, and we're optimistic about seeing these numbers sustained into the future!
For anyone who couldn't make the meeting this month, here is a summary of the items we discussed. If you're interested in seeing the meeting minutes in their entirety, you may do so through this link.
SLA-MN Chapter Updates
Registration for the Special Libraries Association conference (for June 7-10, 2025, in Pittsburgh) is now live; the early bird rates end on March 21st, so be sure to register fast if you're set on going. You can learn more about the conference, including registration fees, scheduled events, and accommodations through this link.
If you're an SLA member who's more interested in a meeting that won't require travel or expenses, be sure to check out the virtual New England Coffee Chat hosted by SLA. This is an opportunity to learn more about the interviewing process for special libraries. It runs for an hour starting at 7:30am CST on March 20th. You can register here.
