SLA-SG Spring Semester Event #2: Andersen Horticultural Library

Hello everyone,

With warmer weather on the horizon, we at SLA-SG are looking to stretch our legs and greet the greener months with the second trip of Spring Semester!

This time we’re headed for the Andersen Horticultural Library. Nested in the Minnesota Landscape Arboretum, this reference library is home to rare books and journals, plus vintage seed and nursery catalogs. In addition to this collection, the library itself is beautifully furnished with Nakashima handcrafted woodwork, and exhibits the ongoing Flora and Fauna Illustrata art project; for an example of this art’s quality, our flyer for this event features Claudette Dahlia by Linda Thorson. You can view the digitized collection for yourself on UMedia.

We ask again that anyone interested in joining us for this visit RSVP through this link by May 6th!

Date: Saturday, May 18th.

Time: 12:30pm-1:45pm, CST.

Where: 3675 Arboretum Drive, Chaska, MN 55318

Who: Everyone is welcome, but be sure to RSVP!
