Letters Are Sent!

Letters asking for donations from around 25 local businesses were sent out today, with a round of about 25 more going out next Sunday to new businesses we've never contacted before. The letters introduce what the donation is for and encourage the businesses to donate for a good cause (scholarship) and to get visibility at an event attended by many local professionals and students. 

We will be seeking volunteers for [scripted] follow-up calls soon, so get your dialing fingers ready!

On the Information Professionals Panel front, our planning group is meeting next Tuesday to figure out contacting the panelists, marketing and food for the event. It should be a good one!
