Next Meeting Agenda and SLA-MN Book Drive

Our next meeting is this Thursday, October 15th @ 5:00pm in CdC 17. We'll be talking about:

• What type of special library we want to tour. If you haven't yet, please take our survey. I've now added an "Other" option so if you don't see the type of special library you want to tour you can write it in.
• The information professionals panel with ALA, which looks like it will be on November 30th. Want to get involved? Ideas for panelists? We'll be looking for students to help put this into motion soon.
• Attending an SLA-MN event. Their calendar looks pretty sparse right now, so this may get pushed to spring. They do have a book drive happening on October 19th, though, so consider volunteering if you're able, or donating your new or gently used young adult books!
• The SLA-MN Holiday Party, which looks like it will be on December 7th. We will be stuffing donation letters to email out to local businesses sometime in October.
